Charged Imperial shot coupled with Complex damage mods to your face is likely the culprit of your OHK deaths or near OHK deaths.
My personal strategy for SCR use is to lead with a charge shot (aimed at the head) then follow up with a lightning fast volley center of mass. What usually happens is if I don't OHK the enemy with the charged shot, they're left with something like 20 armor, and the volley takes them out immediately thereafter.
The problem that arises is that if the charge shot doesn't OHK the enemy, they usually turn about trying to figure out what hit them but stay still in one place (ie, they pivot). Standing still is the absolute worst thing you can do against a SCR, if you want to survive, movement is the answer. I hate to admit it, but there is nothing that infuriates me more than hitting someone with a charged shot, but them knowing better and starting to strafe like a mofo leaving me going PEW PEW PEW PEW all over the place missing every shot AS THEY SCURRY THE F*** AWAY WITH ONLY 13 ARMOR.

I'm armor tanker to the max and they still melt my face off worse than the Plasma Rifle. Spot on sir, We were running squad the other day and some one was running an advance ScR and had to be modded to no end. The ScR was doing insane amounts of damage and it didnt matter what you were running. The ScR is OP and I do not care what anyone says. It is F****** stupid they have a charge shot that depletes your shields in one shot and then they can hammer at your armor with impunity. The fact they have a scope allows for them to have better aim than an iron sight for example look at the LR how much better it is now it has a scope. The ScR in the right hands is far more deadly than an AR, that is why so many are using them. Those who lose to an AR are either bad at the weapon or the AR user is that much better.
The fact that you'd even state that the SCR is OP shows me that you have a few screws loose in that brain of yours. The SCR overheats, the AR does not so a user will be PUNISHED if they try and spam a SCR.
The SCR also DOES NOT have a scope, it has an RDS aka a Red Dot SIGHT as in NO ZOOM. Before you spread misinformation on the weapon, get your facts straight.
I'm sorry if you got your ass handed to you by a SCR user, but find somewhere else to passively moan about how "OP" they are. Or (I've sooooooooooo been waiting to use this in context) ----> Get gud nub.

I run ADV assault SCR on my scout because it works more effectively than my Gek. I would go Shotty, but I prefer to keep my targets further away. They're not, it's currently bugged and does the same damage to armor. Or atleast I heard
People spreading lies in the hopes of getting the SCR nerfed so the AR can remain king. It is untrue, the SCR does reduced damage to armor.
For example I can take out 500HP of shields in around 3 shots or 1.5 shots if charged, but it takes about 7 - 8 shots to slog through 500HP of armor.
